Ingredients

  • 150 g all purpose flour
  • 5 g baking soda
  • 150 ml golden syrup
  • 200 g rolled oats
  • 100 g white sugar

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, white sugar, and baking soda.
Step 3
In a small saucepan, heat the golden syrup until it becomes liquid.
Step 4
Pour the melted golden syrup into the dry ingredients and mix well until combined.
Step 5
Scoop the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming small balls and pressing them down slightly.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
