A delightful summer dessert made with fresh, juicy peaches encased in a flaky homemade pie crust.
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 220 degrees C (425 degrees F).
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Mix well.
Step 3
Add the peeled and sliced peaches to the sugar mixture and toss to coat.
Step 4
Line the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate with one of the pie crusts.
Step 5
Pour the peach mixture into the pie crust and dot with butter.
Step 6
Cover with the top crust and crimp the edges to seal. Cut small slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
Step 7
Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Step 8
Cool before serving.
