Ingredients

  • 5 g black pepper
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 4 green onions
  • 60 ml rice wine
  • 30 ml sesame oil
  • 180 ml soy sauce
  • 180 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, water, brown sugar, rice wine, and sesame oil. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 2
Add the minced garlic, chopped green onions, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir to combine.
Step 3
Place the beef short ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are fully submerged.
Step 4
Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight, to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.
Step 5
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Step 6
Grill the ribs for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
