  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 400 g tomatoes
  • 500 ml water
  • 500 g white beans

Directions

Step 1
Drain and rinse the soaked white beans.
Step 2
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Add the drained white beans and water to the pot. Bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 1 hour or until the beans are tender.
