  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 2 puff pastry sheets
  • 100 g ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a bowl, crumble the feta cheese and mix it with the ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Step 3
Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares or triangles.
Step 4
Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square or triangle.
Step 5
Fold the pastry over the filling to form a pocket and press the edges to seal.
Step 6
Brush the tops with a little beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Step 7
Place the bourekas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Let cool slightly before serving.
