Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 L chicken broth
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 g turnip greens

Directions

Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
Step 3
Add the diced potatoes and sliced carrots to the pot, cook for about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Add the turnip greens, salt, and black pepper.
Step 7
Continue to simmer for another 10 minutes until the greens are tender.
