A rich and creamy flan made with cream cheese, perfect for a delightful dessert. This recipe combines a smooth texture with a caramel topping, making it a favorite for any occasion.
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt sugar until liquefied and golden in color. Carefully pour hot caramel into a round glass baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom evenly. Set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Add sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth. Pour mixture over caramel in the prepared dish.
Step 4
Place the baking dish in a larger baking pan. Fill the larger pan with hot water to reach halfway up the sides of the baking dish.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven until center is just set, about 50 to 60 minutes. Let cool then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Step 6
To serve, run a knife around the edges of the flan. Invert onto a serving plate. Enjoy!
