Deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these air fryer polenta fries make for a perfect snack or side dish. Simple to prepare and even easier to eat, they are sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 240 g polenta
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 720 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Bring the water to a boil in a pot and add the salt.
Step 2
Gradually add the polenta, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Step 3
Lower the heat and continue to stir until the polenta thickens, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
Step 5
Transfer the polenta to a baking dish and spread it out evenly. Let it cool and set for about 30 minutes.
Step 6
Once set, cut the polenta into fry-shaped sticks.
Step 7
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (392°F).
Step 8
Brush the polenta fries with olive oil and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Step 9
Cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are golden and crispy.
