Ingredients

  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 5 ml maple extract
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 240 ml water
  • 200 g white sugar

Directions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine the white sugar, brown sugar, and water.
Step 2
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 4
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and maple extract.
Step 5
Allow the syrup to cool slightly before serving. It will thicken as it cools.
