  • 30 g all-purpose flour
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 750 g gooseberries
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 1 pie crust
  • 200 g sugar

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Rinse and drain the gooseberries.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine the gooseberries, sugar, flour, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Step 4
Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
Step 5
Pour the gooseberry mixture into the pie crust.
Step 6
Dot the top of the filling with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Step 7
Cover with the top crust, seal the edges, and cut small vents in the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
