Directions
Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, beat the egg and then add the milk, honey, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Step 3
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Step 4
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
Step 5
Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes and the edges start to look dry, then flip and cook until browned on the other side.
Step 6
Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
