  • 100 g butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 12 oysters
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Remove the butter mixture from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt.

Place the oysters on the grill, flat side up. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, until the oysters begin to open.

Carefully remove the top shell of each oyster, keeping the juices in the bottom shell.

Spoon the butter mixture evenly over each oyster and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Return the oysters to the grill and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve the grilled oysters hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
