  • 450 grams asparagus
  • 2 sprigs dill
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 5 grams red pepper flakes
  • 15 grams salt
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 240 ml water
  • 240 ml white vinegar

Directions

Step 1
Combine water, white vinegar, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar and salt.
Step 2
Place the asparagus, garlic cloves, fresh dill, and red pepper flakes (if using) into a clean jar.
Step 3
Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the asparagus in the jar, ensuring all the asparagus is submerged.
Step 4
Let the jar cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
