  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 400 g diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 225 g lasagna noodles
  • 200 g mozzarella cheese
  • 1 onion
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 250 g ricotta cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 680 g tomato sauce
  • 240 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Step 2
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Step 4
Add the broken lasagna noodles to the skillet, stirring to combine. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Remove from heat and stir in the ricotta cheese.
Step 6
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese on top. Cover and let it sit for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
Step 7
