  • 1000 g lamb
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 6 pita bread
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tomato
  • 200 g yogurt

Directions

Finely chop the onion and garlic.

In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, olive oil, paprika, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper.
Step 3
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the mixture.

Cut the lamb shoulder into thin slices and mix well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Step 5
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Step 6
Thread the marinated lamb slices onto skewers and grill for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
Step 7
While the meat is grilling, prepare the vegetables by slicing the tomatoes and chopping the lettuce.
Step 8
Once the meat is cooked, remove it from the skewers and let it rest for a few minutes.
Step 9
Warm the pita bread on the grill for a minute on each side.
Step 10
Assemble the kebabs by placing some grilled lamb on each pita bread, followed by the sliced tomatoes and chopped lettuce. Serve immediately.
