Ingredients

  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 green onions
  • 60 ml honey
  • 60 ml rice vinegar
  • 15 ml sesame oil
  • 15 ml sesame seeds
  • 120 ml soy sauce

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and black pepper to make the marinade.
Step 2
Place the chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for best results.
Step 3
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Step 4
Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off any excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
Step 5
Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F) and the chicken is cooked through.
Step 6
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
