  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 450 grams scallops

Directions

Step 1
Pat the scallops dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Step 2
Season the scallops with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 3
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 4
Add the scallops to the skillet in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Step 5
Cook the scallops for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and opaque in the center.

Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
Step 7
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 8
Add the lemon juice and butter to the skillet, stirring to combine.

Return the scallops to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic-lemon sauce.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
