Spicy Drunkard's Noodles, also known as Pad Kee Mow, is a popular Thai street food dish. Made with wide rice noodles, vegetables, and a savory, spicy sauce, it's the perfect quick and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 200 g chicken breast
  • 2 chili
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 300 g wide rice noodles

Directions

Step 1
Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Add the minced garlic and chopped chilies, and sauté until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the sliced chicken breast and cook until it's no longer pink.
Step 5
Add the sliced bell pepper and onion, and continue to sauté until the vegetables are tender.
Step 6
Stir in the cooked rice noodles.
Step 7
Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
Step 8
Finally, add the basil leaves and stir until they are wilted.
