  • 120 ml banana ketchup
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 120 ml soy sauce

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, banana ketchup, brown sugar, minced garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create the marinade.

Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off.

Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
