  • 190 g all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 400 g light brown sugar
  • 200 g pecans
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 113 g unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 2
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar until smooth. Let the mixture cool slightly.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture.
Step 5
Stir in the chopped pecans.
Step 6
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Step 7
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
