Directions
Step 1
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat and add minced garlic, sliced onion, and zucchini. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Step 2
Add sliced mushrooms, green onions, and red pepper flakes. Stir fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Pour in water and soy sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 4
Add soft tofu by spoonfuls into the boiling mixture, breaking it up gently.
Step 5
If using, add pork or seafood and cook until fully done.
Step 6
Season with salt to taste and let the stew simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Serve hot with rice on the side.
