A delicious and easy-to-make side dish featuring Brussels sprouts roasted to perfection with Parmesan cheese, garlic, and a touch of olive oil.

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 450 g Brussels sprouts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 60 g Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
Step 4
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Step 5
Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and tender.
Step 6
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine and serve immediately.
