Ingredients

  • 10 g baking powder
  • 60 g butter
  • 120 g cornmeal
  • 1 egg
  • 120 g flour
  • 240 ml milk
  • 2 g salt
  • 30 g sugar

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Step 2
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
Step 3
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Step 4
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
Step 5
Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
Step 6
Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes and the edges look dry, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, about 2 minutes more.
Step 7
Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
