Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt.
Step 2
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the eggs and sour cream.
Step 3
Mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.

Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion out very thinly.
Step 5
Cut the rolled dough into strips about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide.
Step 6
Make a small slit in the center of each strip and pull one end through the slit to form a twist.
Step 7
Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F).
Step 8
Fry the dough twists until golden brown, turning once.
Step 9
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Step 10
Cool slightly and dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
