Ingredients

  • 6 bell peppers
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 240 g cooked rice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 240 ml tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
Step 4
Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 5
Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Step 6
Stuff each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture, and place them in a baking dish.
Step 7
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the stuffed peppers.
Step 8
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Step 9
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
Step 10
Serve hot and enjoy!
