Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F).

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add asparagus and cook for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, half of the shredded Cheddar cheese, and milk. Stir until well blended.

Add the cooked asparagus to the soup mixture and stir to coat.

Pour the asparagus mixture into a casserole dish.
