Ingredients

  • 240 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 2 onions
  • 3 red bell peppers
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 240 g sugar

Directions

Step 1
Place the chopped red and green bell peppers and onions in a large pot.
Step 2
Add the granulated sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and red pepper flakes to the pot.
Step 3
Stir the mixture well to combine all the ingredients.
Step 4
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low.
Step 5
Simmer the relish for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and the liquid has reduced.
Step 6
Remove the pot from heat and let the relish cool slightly.
Step 7
Transfer the relish to sterilized jars and seal tightly.
Step 8
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or process in a water bath for longer storage.
