Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 120 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 900 g ground beef
  • 60 ml ketchup
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 15 ml Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Step 2
Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it on a piece of aluminum foil. Fold the edges of the foil up to create a sealed packet.
Step 3
Pour 240ml of water into the Instant Pot and place a trivet in the bottom.
Step 4
Place the meatloaf packet on the trivet.
Step 5
Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to the sealing position.
Step 6
Select the Pressure Cook or Manual button and set the timer for 40 minutes.
Step 7
Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then perform a quick release.
Step 8
Carefully remove the meatloaf from the Instant Pot and open the foil packet.
Step 9
Spread the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
Step 10
Slice and serve the meatloaf hot.
