Lemon Sorbet

A refreshing and tangy lemon sorbet that's perfect for a hot summer day. Easy to make with just a few simple ingredients.

  • 240 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 200 g sugar
  • 480 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar.

Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
Step 3
Once the syrup is cool, add the lemon juice and lemon zest. Stir well to combine.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Step 5
If you don't have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze. Stir every 30 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency.
