Ingredients

  • 60 g butter
  • 30 g flour
  • 480 ml milk
  • 1 onion
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
Step 4
Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until it forms a paste.
Step 5
Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

Season with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Arrange the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
Step 8
Pour half of the milk mixture over the potatoes.
Step 9
Place the pork chops on top of the potatoes and pour the remaining milk mixture over the pork chops.
Step 10
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
Step 11
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the pork chops are cooked through.

Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
