Ingredients

  • 1 l beef broth
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 900 g lamb shoulder
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 900 g potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp thyme

Directions

Step 1
Heat a large pot over medium heat and add lamb chunks. Brown the lamb on all sides.
Step 2
Add chopped onions and celery to the pot and cook until softened.
Step 3
Stir in the sliced carrots and chopped potatoes.
Step 4
Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 5
Add salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Stir well.
Step 6
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the lamb and vegetables are tender.
Step 7
