4 Servings
  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 apples
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 g cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 240 ml milk
  • 1 g salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.
Step 3
In a large ovenproof skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced apples and cook until they begin to soften, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over the apples. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and the apples are caramelized.
Step 5
Pour the batter over the caramelized apples in the skillet. Place the skillet in the preheated oven.
Step 6
Bake for 20 minutes or until the pancake is puffed and golden brown.
Step 7
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with maple syrup.
