  • 950 ml chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 450 g green chiles
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 900 g pork shoulder
  • 450 g potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g tomatoes
  • 1 yellow onion

Directions

Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the pork shoulder and cook until browned on all sides.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Stir in the green chiles, potatoes, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Step 4
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 1 hour, or until the pork and potatoes are tender.
