Ingredients

  • 0.5 cups rice vinegar
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2.5 cups water

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

Add the rinsed rice and water to the Instant Pot.

Seal the lid and set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.

Once the cooking time is complete, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.

In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until the sugar dissolves.

Transfer the cooked rice to a large bowl and gently fold in the vinegar mixture until well combined.
