A rich and creamy chicken fettuccine Alfredo that's perfect for a comforting meal. This recipe combines tender chicken with a luscious homemade Alfredo sauce and fettuccine pasta.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 450 g fettuccine pasta
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 120 g parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breast and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice into strips.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add the butter and garlic. Cook until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 4
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Stir in the grated parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Step 6
Add the cooked fettuccine and chicken strips to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta and chicken with the sauce.
Step 7
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
