Step 1
Slice the venison into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, brown sugar, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.

Add the venison strips to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat the oven to 70°C (160°F).

Place the marinated venison strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they do not overlap.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for 4-6 hours, or until the jerky is dry and firm but still slightly pliable.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
