  • 50 grams brown sugar
  • 600 grams cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 2 green onions
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 60 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Step 3
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
Step 5
Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce has thickened.
Step 6
Serve the beef teriyaki over cooked rice, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
