Ingredients

  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1.5 kg chicken wings
  • 120 ml hot sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 190°C (375°F).
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix together the flour, cayenne pepper, paprika, and salt.
Step 3
Coat the chicken wings in the flour mixture and set aside on a plate.
Step 4
Fry the chicken wings in the hot oil until they are crispy and golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
Step 5
While the wings are frying, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat and mix in the hot sauce.
Step 6
Once the wings are done, remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Step 7
Place the wings in a large bowl, pour the sauce over them, and toss to coat.
Step 8
Serve immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing, if desired.
