  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium saucepan, bring the milk to a simmer over medium heat.

Gradually whisk in the cornmeal until smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the butter until melted.
