Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Black tea leaves
  • 4 Cardamom pods
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 cups Water

Directions

Step 1
In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Step 2
Add the black tea leaves, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, and sliced ginger to the boiling water.
Step 3
Reduce the heat and let the tea simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse.
Step 4
Add the sugar and milk to the saucepan, then bring the mixture back to a boil.
Step 5
Reduce the heat again and let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.
