This Instant Pot Beef Stroganoff is a quick and easy version of the classic comfort food. Tender beef, mushrooms, and onions are cooked in a creamy sauce, and everything is ready in just under an hour.

  • 500 ml beef broth
  • 700 g beef sirloin
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 30 g butter
  • 300 g egg noodles
  • 30 g flour
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 240 ml sour cream

Directions

Step 1
Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and add olive oil and butter.
Step 2
Once the butter has melted, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 3
Add the beef strips to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.
Step 4
Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Step 5
Sprinkle the flour over the beef and mushrooms and stir well to coat.
Step 6
Pour in the beef broth, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
Step 7
Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set it to high pressure for 15 minutes.
Step 8
Once the cooking time is complete, perform a quick release of the pressure.
Step 9
Stir in the sour cream until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Step 10
While the beef is cooking, prepare the egg noodles according to the package instructions.
Step 11
Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles.
