Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 225 g ham
  • 4 slices pickles
  • 450 g roast pork
  • 1 loaf sweet egg dough bread
  • 225 g Swiss cheese
  • 3 tbsp yellow mustard

Directions

Step 1
Preheat a sandwich press or a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Slice the bread loaf horizontally to create a top and bottom half.
Step 3
Spread yellow mustard on the inside of both halves of the bread.
Step 4
Layer the roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles evenly on the bottom half of the bread.
Step 5
Place the top half of the bread over the layers to form a sandwich.
Step 6
Spread the softened butter on the outside of both the top and bottom halves of the sandwich.
Step 7
Place the sandwich in the press or skillet. Press down firmly and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Step 8
Remove from the press or skillet, slice the sandwich into portions, and serve warm.
