Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 30 grams butter
  • 500 grams chicken breast
  • 500 ml chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 200 grams rice
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
Step 3
Add the chicken breast and cook until browned on all sides.
Step 4
Stir in the rice and cook for 2 minutes to toast slightly.
Step 5
Pour in the chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
Step 6
Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
Step 7
Stir in the heavy cream, butter, salt, and black pepper.
Step 8
Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the mixture is creamy.
Step 9
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
