Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 115 g butter
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 475 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 240 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 120 g Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 450 g penne pasta
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2
Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Step 3
Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Step 4
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and cook the chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.

Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

Cut the cooked chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and add to the sauce.
Step 9
Combine the cooked pasta with the Alfredo sauce and chicken, then transfer to a baking dish.
Step 10
Top with shredded Mozzarella cheese and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Step 11
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
