  • 0.5 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup pine nuts
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
In a food processor, combine basil leaves, garlic, and pine nuts. Pulse until finely chopped.
Step 2
Add the Parmesan cheese and pulse to combine.
Step 3
With the food processor running, slowly add the olive oil in a steady stream until the mixture is smooth.
Step 4
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
