  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 240 milliliters vegetable oil
  • 1 whole egg

Directions

Step 1
In a tall container or mixing bowl, combine the whole egg, lemon juice, mustard, and salt.

Using an immersion blender, blend the ingredients together until well combined.
Step 3
With the immersion blender running, slowly drizzle in the vegetable oil in a steady stream. Continue blending until the mixture thickens and emulsifies into a creamy mayonnaise.
