  • 600 g canned cherry pie filling
  • 450 g canned crushed pineapple
  • 100 g chopped nuts
  • 170 g unsalted butter
  • 500 g yellow cake mix

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 3
Pour the crushed pineapple with its juice over the cherry pie filling and spread evenly.
Step 4
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.
Step 5
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Make sure all the cake mix is moistened.
Step 6
If using, sprinkle the chopped nuts over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
