  • 110 grams brown sugar
  • 227 grams butter
  • 80 ml eggnog
  • 2 eggs
  • 360 grams flour
  • 2.5 ml ground cinnamon
  • 5 ml ground nutmeg
  • 2.5 ml salt
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the eggnog and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Step 6
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
