  • 60 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 2 kg beef brisket
  • 500 ml beef broth
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 onion
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 120 g tomato paste

Directions

Step 1
Place the sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Step 2
Season the beef brisket with salt, pepper, and paprika, then place it on top of the onions and garlic.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, tomato paste, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce.

Pour the mixture over the brisket in the slow cooker.
Step 5
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, until the brisket is tender and easily shredded.
Step 6
Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing or shredding.

Serve the brisket with the cooking juices spooned over the top.
