Directions
Step 1
Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp of the butter over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp of butter. Add the onions and cook until translucent. Add the garlic and mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are tender.

Sprinkle the flour over the mushroom mixture and stir to combine. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
Step 5
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and black pepper.

Return the cooked beef to the skillet and simmer for another 5 minutes to heat through.

Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles.
